A few of the other August happenings for our crew...
Hudson got an iPhone. Thankful we made it to age 15 1/2 before he got one.
Greta and Ivy went to play with Lucas for a few hours while I worked.
These two love LEGO building.
The Sweet Corn Festival was delicious.
Coordinating colors with a friend at church.
We competed in a puzzle challenge with my sister at the library. We fixed a 300 piece puzzle in 24 min and 31 seconds. We got 2nd place by 31 seconds (the winning team finished in 24 minutes). We will be back for revenge when they do it again in December.
summer days = pool days = the best days
Ivy loves making morning biscuits with her Dad.
The kids earned free tickets to an ICubs game for the summer reading program. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon for a baseball game.
Go! Cubs! Go!
Ivy went to the Paw Patrol Dino movie with Mimi as her back to school outing.
Mom took us all to get our nails done for a "back school pedicure (or manicure)."
We love these outings! It's fun to be pampered!
These two helped me get ready for the garage sale so I treated them to Culvers.
We had our annual garage sale August 27-29. It was another successful sale (and I'm glad it's over for another year).
Proof of the sale...
Lots of friends (of every age and size) stop by our garage sale to see us and support the sale.
Hudson bakes pumpkin bars and they are always a popular bake sale item.
I love their affection for one another. 💙
Getting in our steps at the YMCA.
Ang took us to an ISU Volleyball game vs Northern Iowa. Ivy colored a picture for Cy and he was pleased with her thoughtfulness. The game went into 4 sets and was quite the battle (final score was 36-34).
Hickory Park after the game....of course!
Yes please for ice cream!
