July 10-12 I had the opportunity to attend Thirty-One's National Conference. They announced nearly a year ago that it would be held in Denver, which created great motivation to get there for the event, since my sister lives in Denver. Yeah! We pretty much planned our trip to Colorado with the conference in mind. I was a bit anxious going in, not really knowing anyone else, but I was thankful to get connected with some great roommates from Central Iowa who I built relationships with and spent most of my time with. The conference was a "first" for me, but certainly proved to be worth the time, effort, and expense I put into it. I was blessed in many ways and am still processing all that I learned. I am especially grateful to my wonderful husband who supports me in this business, as its a creative outlet and opportunity to build relationships, and make a little money. Roy is the best! We met for our large group gatherings at the Pepsi Center. Here is what 7000 ladies looks like, getting ready to celebrate, encourage, and reward.
The stage is set to start a general session. The theme for the weekend was "dream it. BE IT!" We had 5 main speakers, all of who were excellent and had a different message and theme for their talk. I learned so much, I cried, I was both challenged and encouraged as a mother and wife, as well as a business owner.
On Thursday evening my family came to pick me up during our dinner break. I felt like the luckiest lady there to have such special service! They had picked up a pizza and we ate at a park in downtown Denver. Then we enjoyed an ice cream treat to celebrate our last evening together in Denver. Hudson was obviously thrilled with his choice of treat.

Deanne is a friend I met and roomed with at the conference. I am grateful for the gift of her friendship and the opportunity to share in conversation together and make memories together.

We had an awards dinner on Friday evening, complete with a delicious meal and honoring individuals who have been promoted and excelled in their business.
We got a sneak peak of the new prints and products in the fall line. The product premier was certainly a favorite part for everyone in attendance.

After the conference was over, I spent the last evening and morning with my sister before hitting the road for home. We enjoyed this delicious breakfast together and I am grateful for the extra moments we got to spend together.
