The 2nd Disney park we headed to was Magic Kingdom. We arrived shortly after 8:00am, giving us early access.

I will probably always remember this as one of Ivy's grumpy moments of the trip, which still surprises me.
Roy got in line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train while we jumped on Dumbo, the Flying Elephant.
Then we did Under the Sea -- Journey of the Little Mermaid. It was much better than I anticipated.
The queue for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was pretty cool and
the roller coaster did not disappoint.
Roy really liked Peter Pan when he was a kid so Peter Pan's Flight was as special one for him. A magical element to this ride was the sprinkling of Pixie Dust on your boat as you "sailed" off.
The Haunted Mansion - not my favorite, yet a Disney classic.
We got on the Riverboat in Liberty Square.
It's A Small World - The one ride Angela requested. The boat moves pretty slowly so we took lots of pictures on this one.
We were fortunate to snag a Virtual Queue spot on Tiana's Bayou Adventure (formally Splash Mountain).

The lush colors and bayou vibe were magical. The animatronics were real-life and impressive.
Tiana's was my favorite ride of the day!
Ready for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (which has since been closed down for renovations).
At 2:00 we watched the Festival of Fantasy Parade.
Ivy had the best view of us all.
We had a late lunch reservation at Be Our Guest, which was the Beast's castle. This was Angela's choice and her treat.
We love Aunt Ang!
The Beast came to greet the guests in the Ballroom every 30 minutes.
I want to remember Ivy's expression and awe at what was unfolding in front of us.
I had mashed potatoes, green beans and a fillet mignon. Perfection!
What a delightful treat. This meal was a highlight of our trip!
After dinner came the dessert. Ivy had been waiting for this moment, painting and then eating her white chocolate Chip cup + The Gray Stuff.
The adult dessert tray included a macaron, The Gray Stuff (yes it was delicious) and a chocolate truffle.
The colorful Beauty and the Beast mosaic outside the restaurant was a lovely spot for a photo.

The fireworks show started at 8:00pm.
The castle was constantly changing, with all the colorful themed projections.
After the fireworks show Roy was ready to head for the hotel but we convinced him to go on a few more rides, squeezing in a bit more excitement. So, we headed for Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin.

Last ride of the day was People Mover in Tomorrowland, which proved to be relaxing.
Slowly making our way out of the park, yet stopping to take a few more pics.
Ivy fell asleep in the stroller and we browsed in the gift shops, where Greta found her souvenirs.
A sweet ending to a memorable day.
