It appears that we took over 100 pictures during the 1 hour of singing, dancing and imaginary playtime at the Kindermusik studio. As I was looking through them it was evident the children had a fantastic time. The smiles and joyful expressions on their faces were precious and I am thankful for the sweet musical memories that were made. Without further introduction, here is a recap of our time...
The birthday girls was all smiles and excitement about the guests arriving.
Greta had Miss Rebecca as her Kindermusik teach the past two years and we absolutely adore her. She is so talented at what she does and forms beautiful bonds with the children. We were fortunate enough that she was available to be the lead teacher for the party. She planned an amazing hour of music, fun, movement and princess play for the children.
The princesses came eager and excited...and oh so fancy!
Their first assignment was to make fairy gardens using the toys provided.
The guests were invited to wear their "royal attire" and each one came dressed for the part.
The whole group, a combination of cousins and friends.
They imagined the hula hoops were boats, on the sea going to the castle.

Then it was time to get out the sea shell clappers.

I am a bit biased, but she is a beautiful princess and I am so thankful to be her mom.
Each child had a turn to play the large gathering drum, a favorite activity of Greta's that she requested doing at the party.
They were encouraged to play loud, soft, fast or slow.

Miss Rebecca had their attention captured for the entire time and had the activities and transitions planned perfectly.

Greta had a blast and it was so special to have so many of her favorite people along for the musical fun that we enjoy each week.

Next it was time to take out the parachute and toss the snowballs...oh the smiles and the giggles.
Next, they went ice skating, using paper plates on their feet. This is another one of Greta's favorite Kindermusik memories.
Cousin Maryn was the youngest guest and even though she missed her nap she took it all in like a champ.
We closed out our playtime with a little rest and relaxation.
Lights off, stars above and flashlights to shine into the night sky.
If I could describe the time in one word it would be magical. It was a pure delight and great fun for the children and adults alike. I am so glad we made the investment of a group party at the Kindermusik studio. Memories of sweet smiles and laughter are etched on my heart.
